Cline helps Kentucky Wesleyan earn doubleheader sweep

Kentucky Wesleyan senior Jeremy Cline (Warren Central Class of 2011) helped the Panthers earn a pair of Great Midwest Athletic Conference baseball wins over visiting Davis & Elkins (W.Va.) on Sunday at Panther Park in Owensboro.
Cline drove in three runs and had a double in KWC’s 10-6 win in the second game.
Kentucky Wesleyan (20-10 overall, 11-1 G-MAC) is back in action Tuesday with a home game against Southern Indiana.

University of the Cumberlands senior right-handed relief pitcher Brantley Bray (Allen County-Scottsville Class of 2012) fired three scoreless innings of relief for UCC in Sunday’s 6-0 loss to visiting Georgetown.
Bray allowed four hits but no runs in the relief stint.
UCC (25-18, 4-11 Mid-South Conference) is back in action Tuesday at Alice Lloyd.
