A section of West Old State Road in Allen County is set for a complete closure for two days as crews continue to work on a bridge replacement project. The closure will begin at 6 a.m. Wednesday, with the road reopening to one lane at 6 a.m. Friday.

The section of road has been limited to one lane while construction of a new bridge over Lancaster Creek is taking place.

The complete closure is needed so crews can remove part of the existing road and do some paving. The full project is expected to be completed in late May. A signed detour uses U.S. 231, U.S. 31-E, Ky. 100 and Ky. 585.
