The nightcap went 11 innings, and Ray’s sixth-inning squeeze scored Rippy from third base and pulled the Tigers to within 4-3. Then in the 11th, Ray scored the go-ahead run from second. Ray finished the game 1 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored, while Rippy added a run and a stolen base.
