Spalding University freshman third baseman Matt Harper (Logan County Class of 2015) was 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs in Saturday’s 4-2 win over Heidelberg (Ohio). … Centre College junior Trevor Brewer (Greenwood Class of 2013) got tagged with a loss despite a solid pitching performance in Saturday’s 4-0 loss to Birmingham Southern. Brewer started and pitched 5 1/3 innings, allowing two earned runs off six hits and three walks while striking out one. … Lindsey Wilson sophomore Amy Rogers (Butler County Class of 2014) was 1 for 3 with an RBI in Saturday’s 13-4 loss to LSU-Alexandria in the Gulf Shores Invitational in Gulf Shores, Ala.
