WKU transfer scholarship deadline approaches

College students looking to transfer to Western Kentucky University have a limited time to apply for scholarships.
Transferring students could get up to $4,000 in assistance, but only if they apply by April 1 for fall 2016 admission.
Students transferring from regionally accredited schools are awarded based on their academic achievements, and renewable scholarships range from $1,500 to $4,000, depending on eligibility.
Chris Jensen, interim director for the Academic Advising and Retention Center, encouraged students to visit the Transfer Center.
“The Transfer Center is a one-stop shop and can assist students with transfer admissions, advising, credit evaluation, financial aid, scholarships and more,” he said in a news release.
Students can apply by filling out an admissions application to WKU.
