- Pillow signs with Lindsey Wilson
Greenwood’s Noah Pillow signed to play college football with Lindsey Wilson on Monday.
“It’s just a good feeling to know that I’ve got four more years of this sport,” Pillow said. “ I have a good place, a competitive place, a winning place. I’m happy about it.”
Pillow said he also considered University of the Cumberlands and Union College, but chose Lindsey Wilson because it is a new program that has already developed a winning tradition, and the school located in Columbia is close to home.
The running back was second on the Gators last season in rushing behind quarterback Jackson Adams, rushing for 801 yards and nine touchdowns. Greenwood finished 9-3, losing to Owensboro in the second round of the Class 5A playoffs.
Pillow said he is happy to have his decision behind him and ready to enjoy his final months of high school.
“I just get to chillax,” Pillow said. “I have to make sure I keep my grades up, but I kind of get to cruise on by through school and get ready for college.”
