Virginia’s Scout.com site reported Thursday via a source that an interview with Western Kentucky coach Jeff Brohm “is likely to happen early next week and both Brohm and UVA are interested.
“Nothing has been set in stone, but both parties are interested and things could move quick towards an interview,” the report said.

The report also reaffirms previous reports that Brohm does not want to interview with anyone before Saturday’s Conference USA championship game against Southern Miss.
The Cavaliers are in the market for a coach after Mike London resigned Sunday in a mutual decision with the school to part ways following his fourth straight losing season.
Virginia went 4-8 this season, including a 3-5 mark in ACC play. London tallied a 27-46 record over his six seasons at the helm.
