Allen County man charged with 227 counts of sex crimes

An Allen County grand jury indicted a Scottsville man Thursday on 120 counts of incest and 127 counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
Kentucky State Police Trooper Joe Gregory arrested John Knight, 62, of Scottsville, at 6:11 p.m. Thursday, according to a news release from KSP.
Three minors are considered victims in this case, KSP Post 3 spokesman Trooper B.J. Eaton said.
KSP Detective Jason Lanham is leading the investigation.
Knight is in Allen County Detention Center without bond, according to online jail records.
Domestic assault — The children of a Bowling Green couple told the Bowling Green Police Department that they got between their parents Sunday and took a knife away from their father, who attempted to stab their mother, according to police records. The children then hid all the knives in the house.
Police said the woman had a small scratch on her neck. Her name has been redacted from police records.
Faustino Santos, 50, 523 Lost Circle Ave. No. B, is charged with second-degree assault (domestic violence) and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He is in Warren County Regional Jail in lieu of a $5,000 cash bond.
Theft — A man living in the 200 block of Maple Hill Court told city police Monday that someone stole the wheels off his car and broke out a window.
Similar crime was previously reported in the 2500 block of Stonebridge Lane, and a woman in the 100 block of Gray Rock Road told police that the lug nuts on her husband’s car were removed Monday, but the wheels weren’t taken.
The man on Maple Hill Court said his wheels are worth $4,000.
Police have identified a possible suspect, whose name was redacted from records pending investigation.
Burglary — A resident of the 1300 block of College Street told city police Saturday that someone stole a television, wallet and electronic gaming system.

Assault — A Bowling Green man was injured Friday after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a Chevy Impala.
Darryl Harris, 1420 Longview Drive, was driving on the inside lane of Adams Street near the intersection of 13th Avenue when the driver of the Impala made a sudden turn in front of Harris, causing the motorcycle to overturn onto its side with Harris underneath, according to police records.
Two witnesses corroborated Harris’ accounting of the events. Harris suffered a compound fracture to his right leg that will require surgery to repair, records show.
The Impala driver left the scene of the accident.
