Western Kentucky basketball centers Ben Lawson and Nathan Smith have made Great Britain’s final 12-man roster for the upcoming Under-20 European Championships.
The roster was finalized after Great Britain’s recent trip to a preliminary tournament in Spain, where it beat Poland but fell to Belgium and Spain.

Lawson, a rising 7-foot-1 junior, averaged eight points and 4.3 rebounds across three games in the event, including a high of 11 points against Spain.
Smith, a 7-1 incoming freshman, played sparingly in the three games.
Great Britain begins play in the European Championships on Tuesday against Turkey in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy.
