The Bowling Green softball team won a coin flip Friday to receive the No. 3 seed in the upcoming District 14 softball tournament, while Greenwood will be the No. 4 seed.

BGHS and Greenwood finished 3-5 in District 14 play this season, plus split two games against each other in the regular season, prompting the coin flip.

No. 1 South Warren will meet Greenwood at 5:30 p.m. May 19. No. 2 Warren East will face Bowling Green at 7:30 p.m. May 19. The two winners will advance to the Region 4 Tournament and district championship game May 21. 

All softball tournament games will be at BGHS.
