Apollo junior Eli Wright – a 6-foot-4, 185-pound shooting guard – trimmed his college list to 10 schools Wednesday, and Western Kentucky remains in the mix.

Wright’s top 10, as told in alphabetical order to PrepHoopsKentucky.com, are Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Middle Tennessee, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Texas, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and WKU.

Wright averaged 20.6 points and 7.5 rebounds in 2014-15 for Apollo. He’s rated a three-star prospect by Rivals.

Wright, who attended WKU’s Hilltopper Hysteria in October, also plays with Apollo sophomore forward Trace Young, who has a WKU offer.

In other in-state news from the 2016 class, WKU extended an offer Tuesday to Carson Williams, a 6-6, 220-pound forward from Owen County.
