TOWEL TALK: Andre Thomas-Cobb commits to WKU

The Western Kentucky football program received verbal commitments Monday from Andre Thomas-Cobb and Omarius Bryant.
Thomas-Cobb is a 6-foot-4, 200-pound defensive back from Lehigh High in Lehigh Acres, Fla. He made 25 tackles his senior season and played in the 26th Annual Rotary South All-Star Classic.
Bryant is a 6-foot-4, 280-pound defensive lineman who played the 2014 season at Southwest Mississippi Community College where he made 13 total tackles in seven games played. The Terry High (Miss.) product reportedly holds scholarship offers from WKU, Southern Mississippi, Troy, Central Arkansas, Alcorn State, Jackson State, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, Mississippi, South Alabama and Texas Southern.
Thomas-Cobb and Bryant join athlete Drell Greene (Bacon County/Alma, Ga.), defensive backs Jordon Gonzalez (DuPont Manual), Aldwin Jackson (Seneca) and Antwan Hadley (Butler Community College), defensive end Ty’Ron Horton (DuPont Manual), tight end Tyler Jefferson (Doss), linebackers DeVon Quincy (Lafayette) and Devon Wharton (Christian County), wide receivers Dontavion Jackson (Lafayette), Devin Nixon (Viera High/Viera Fla.) and Quin Jernighan (La Vergne/La Vergne, Tenn.), running back Marquez Trigg (Glasgow), defensive linemen Bryant Pirtle (DeSales), Heath Wiggins (Graves County) and Nick Coffey (Russell County), offensive linemen Cullen Reynolds (Madisonville-North Hopkins), Tyler Camp (Mary Persons/Forsyth, Ga.) and Hunter Holland (Buford/Buford, Ga.) as WKU commits for the 2015 class.
Sidney Hammond of Dodge City Community College has already signed a national letter of intent and Jontavious Morris, Greg Maclin and T.J. McCollum intend to transfer from Alabama-Birmingham to WKU.
