Hilda Fay Willoughby

Hilda Fay Willoughby, 87, of Bowling Green, entered into rest Dec. 28, 2014, at the Christian Health Center. 

Hilda was born Sept. 17, 1927, in Warren County. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mattie Jackson Willoughby; two sisters, Agnes Sledge and Marguerite McGown; and two brothers, George Willoughby and Clay Willoughby.

Hilda was a graduate of Bowling Green High School and was a member of First Baptist Church. She was former owner of Colony Shoppe and McGown TV in Bowling Green. She was a resident of Village Manor for 13 years, prior to entering Christian Health Center.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Una Willoughby of Atwater, Calif., and Cora Willoughby of Naples, Fla., and three nephews, Barry Willoughby of Eagle, Idaho, Wayne Willoughby of Seattle and Michael Willoughby of Huntington Beach, Calif.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son, Lovers Lane chapel. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
