Patricia Ann “Patty” Huff, 74, Harrodsburg, wife of William L. “Bill” Huff, Jr., died Dec. 24, 2014. Born Oct. 13, 1940, in Owensboro to the late Francis Xavier and Hester Mae (Hook) Carrico, Patty was a retired bookkeeper and secretary for Harrodsburg Board of Education.
Patty moved to Bowling Green with her family in 1948 and was a1958 graduate of St. Joseph High School. She accepted a scholarship to Brescia College, where she met the love of her life Jr. Huff.
Other survivors include three daughters, Catherine Renee Carter, Cynthia Lorann (Robert) Brown and Carrie Lynette Mays, all of Harrodsburg; a son, Christopher Kent (Jessica) Huff of Louisville; two sisters, Pam Hardesty of Lewisport, KY, Debbie Bloomer of Owensboro, KY; three brothers, Mike (Barbara) Carrico of Owensboro, KY, Ronnie Carrico of Bowling Green, Kevin Carrico of Daviess County; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Huff of Irvine, Texas; six grandchildren, Jesse Carter, Tyler Brown, Corey Brown, John Steven Mays, Isabella Huff and Scarlett Huff; a great-granddaughter, Elena Carter; and a very special niece, Nikki Jones (Dustin); and her grandniece, Kaylee Jones, and grandnephew Ryker Jones, all of Bowling Green.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Harrodsburg, by Father Noel Zamora and Brian Wentz. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation begins at 7 a.m. Monday at St. Andrew Catholic Church.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Carrico, Jon Carrico, Corey Brown, John Steven Mays, Robert Brown and Frank Johnson. Honorary Bearers will be: Kevin Carter, Steve Mays, Marty Walker, John Brock, J.W. Fister, Kevin Carrico, Ronnie Carrico, Mike Carrico, Tyler Brown, Brad Carrico, Brian Bloomer, Steve Hardesty, Tommy Yates, Carl Hardesty, Paul Logue, Scott Huff, Donald Wiley, David Taylor and Jim Moseley.
