Police have identified Andrea Hall, 27, of Bowling Green, as the woman killed by a train Wednesday near the intersection of Emmett Avenue and Creason Street, Bowling Green Police Department spokesman Officer Ronnie Ward said.
Police were called to the tracks at 7:23 a.m. Wednesday after the woman stepped into the path of an oncoming northbound train, Ward said.
Hall left behind a note, the contents of which will not be disclosed, he said.
Rail traffic was stopped in that area for about two hours while police investigated the incident.
