Owner Ryan Renshaw said the “time has come for America to have a facility like this.”
“What we have built here is a pawn facility unlike you’ll see in all the world,” Renshaw said.
Renshaw said his business is important because it provides a service to people beyondshopping.
When people need to make extra cash or need to purchase something for a better price than they can find at other retailers, The Pawn Company will meet their needs, Renshaw said.
Paul joked that he wasn’t sure if he was invited to the grand opening because he’s friends with the Renshaw family, he’s an elected official or if Renshaw wanted him to test a retina scanner at the business.
He said he was happy to see a business putting about 30 people to work.

Small businesses drive America’s success, Paul said, and he will continue to promote small businesses that strengthen the nation.
The Pawn Company sports a highly visible yellow roof and its name on the side of the building in large yellow letters by Interstate 65.
The store is not yet open to the public and is still stocking inventory.
Seth and Les Gold, stars of the TV show “Hardcore Pawn,” will be at The Pawn Company’s grand opening July 26.
