Alexander Xavier Harkins, 18, of Alvaton, passed away June 25, 2014, at The Medical Center.
Alexander was an employee of Toys “R” Us and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Scottsville. Alexander was a caring and compassionate person who touched the lives of more people than he ever knew.
He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Deanese Harkins, and his little brother, Hunter Harrison Harkins, whom he helped raise since the death of his father, Michael John Harkins.
Alexander was a member of the Greenwood Academic Team (Future Problem Solvers) and lettered in swimming. He was scheduled to attend Western Kentucky University after his graduation in June 2014. The void left by Alexander’s passing will never be filled for those who loved and knew him. Alexander is now in heaven with his father, but the memories and the love we had for him will forever remain in our hearts and minds. Love, mom, family and friends.
