JEFF JOBE

Jeff Jobe, who ran unsuccesfully in 2008 for the 9th District State Senate seat, has filed to run for the House of Representatives 23rd District seat.

A Republican, Jobe lives in Glasgow and operates Jobe Publishing Inc. He came under fire in 2009 from Mothers Against Drug Driving that felt he might have received preferential treatment in what started as a DUI case. Jobe’s charge was amended to reckless driving because his blood alcohol level was .07. The incident was a year after his first offense when his blood alcohol level was .181, more than double the legal limit.

No one else has filed yet for the seat, according to the Kentucky Secretary of State’s office.
