Carolyn Faye Duff Jacoby

Carolyn Faye Duff Jacoby, 70, of Bowling Green, died Nov. 30, 2013, at The Medical Center.

The Warren County native was a daughter of the late Hollie Lethal and Mary Virginia Connor Duff. She is preceded in death by a husband, Douglas M. Jacoby; four sisters, Hazel Duke, Margaret Davis, Judy Tibbs and Dorothy Jean Duff; and two brothers, Bill Duff and Robert Perry Duff. She was a homemaker and cook, a member of Southside Baptist Church and a former member of Eastern Star in North Vernon, Ind.

Survivors include her children, Sharon Shaw Adkins, Linda Shaw Stewart (Joseph), Tim Shaw (Janice), Jeffery Todd Shaw and Chris Shaw; her former husband, Oakley J. Shaw; six grandchildren, Michael L. Adkins Jr., Michelle Adkins, Tara Stewart Ladd, Cody Stewart, Tyler Shaw and Madison Shaw; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Evelyn Bushey (Ron), Jean Davis (Robert), Sue Kendall (Gary Spinks) and Mary Helen Tibbs; two brothers, Dean Duff (Alice) and Gary Duff (Sherry); and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel, with burial in Martinsville Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hardy & Son Funeral Home, 3098 Louisville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42101, toward funeral expenses.
