Leanna Livingston Blann, 82, of Bowling Green, died Sept. 10, 2013, at 2:05 p.m. at Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville.
She was born April 7, 1931, in Spencer, Ind., to the late Robert G. and Hilda Johnson Livingston. She is the widow of Robert Lee Blann. She was a retired teacher from the Bowling Green State Vocational Technical College, where she taught the surgical technology program. She also worked as a registered nurse at Greenview Regional Hospital. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She is also preceded in death by her two sisters, Peggy Livingston Dillon and Judy Livingston Thompson.
She is survived by her daughters, Susie Blann Chambliss and her husband, Steve, of Brentwood, Tenn., and Karen Blann Clark and her husband, Jim, of Nashville; her sons, Scott Blann and his wife, Donna, and Barry Blann, both of Bowling Green; her brother, Robert Livingston of Spencer, Ind.; and her eight grandchildren, Jordan and Seth Blann, Murphy and Mason Chambliss, Parker and Sara Blann and Ryan and Allison Clark. She also is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Friday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel. Burial will follow in Bowling Green Gardens.
