Sid Ray Harp

Sid Ray Harp, 52, of Bowling Green died Sunday, July 28, 2013 at 4:50 pm in Bowling Green. He was born November 30, 1960 in Bowling Green to the Raymond E. Harp of Bowling Green and the late Nina Massey Harp. He was also preceeded in death by his two sisters: Linda Taylor and Debbie Legge and four brothers: Willie, William Alvin, Robert E., and Donnie W. Harp. He was the owner and operator of Shelby Recycling Incorp. He was a Baptist and a hard worker who loved his wife , daughter and his family.

He is also survived by his wife of 29 years: Angela Denise Manley Harp of Bowling Green; his daughter: Shelby Leigh Harp of Bowling Green; two sisters: Judy Gravil and husband Edward and Bonnie Durlin and husband Kenneth both of Bowling Green; three brothers: Raymond W. Harp and wife Pat, Bobby E. Harp and wife LaDonna, and Larry Harp and wife Regina all of Bowling Green; several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 12 noon until 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm Thursday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel with burial to follow in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
