Cheston O’Ryan Wynn, 26, of Bowling Green, pleaded guilty today to second-degree manslaughter and first-degree wanton endangerment in connection with the shooting death of William Anthony Clark.

Clark, 49, was shot to death Dec. 14, 2009, in an apartment at 229A Carpenter Court.

The wanton endangerment charge accuses Wynn of engaging in behavior on the night of Clark’s death that created a threat of death or serious injury to William Carter, who lived at the apartment and was grazed by a bullet during the incident, according to police.

Warren Circuit Judge Judge Steve Wilson sentenced Wynn to 10 years imprisonment on the manslaughter charge and five years on the wanton endangerment charge. The sentences are to be served consecutively.

Wynn is serving a six-year sentence in Warren County Regional Jail after pleading guilty in 2011 to possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. That charge arose from the investigation into Clark’s death.
