Dr. and Mrs. John Travis Burch II of Bowling Green announce the engagement of their daughter, Marissa Anne Burch, to Derrick Austin Palmer, son of Gary and Charla Palmer of Tampa, Fla.

Miss Burch attends Western Kentucky University and is employed by Stakz Frozen Yogurt.

Mr. Palmer attends Western Kentucky University and is employed by Jos. A. Banks.

The wedding will be at 7 p.m. June 21, 2013, at Union Station Hotel in Nashville with a reception afterward at the hotel.
