Green, a 6-foot-4-inch left-hander, graduated from WEHS on Saturday and left hours later for Texas, where he spent most of Sunday working out for the Rangers.
He’ll work out Tuesday in Atlanta for the Braves, Judy Green said, and will throw Friday at Bowling Green Ballpark for the Tampa Bay Rays. Green will then fly to Minneapolis to work out Sunday for the Twins.
The final visits are largely about meeting team executives so they can gauge his makeup and maturity, Judy Green said.
Hunter Green went 3-1 as a senior for the Raiders, recording 110 strikeouts and a 0.14 ERA in 51 2/3 innings. He also batted .390 with seven home runs.
Green’s draft stock has risen steadily in projections throughout the spring, with some recent predictions placing him in the back end of the first round.
Baseball America lists him as its 31st best prospect, while MLB.com has him at No. 67.
