We are ready to break ground on the National Corvette Museum’s Motorsports Park!
The land has been purchased, the track has been designed, the ground breaking date has been set, and the civil engineering firm is finalizing the construction bid documents. The only pending decision is how much ground we will break.
Many Corvette enthusiasts have already helped us raise funds to bring the Motorsports Park to this point, and we are set to begin the project with an autocross area and skid pad. Will the two-mile west track be part of the initial construction? That depends on you!
We must raise an additional $1 million by June 1, 2013 to undertake development of the west track. As of Monday, April 15 we have raised $400,000 through our direct mail campaign that many of you may have received. We still need $600,000 committed!
Will you help us with this project by making a tax deductible donation to the National Corvette Museum?
Donors committing to an acre ($15,000) in the Motorsports Park and major donors ($25,000 or more) will be recognized on the Park’s donor wall and invited to our inaugural event. We would love to see you on the wall and at the event. One acre commitments/pledges will be accepted through December 31, 2013 and may be paid over five years.
Can’t help us with an entire acre or become a major donor? Donations of all amounts are welcome and certainly add up quickly.
The National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park will provide much needed space for high performance driver education, club rentals, teen driver safety training, manufacturers’ testing, emergency vehicle training, and fun automotive events for individuals and groups.
Please show your support for the Motorsports Park by making a tax deductible donation to the National Corvette Museum by June 1, 2013.
