Burglary –– A woman told police that about $2,300 worth of items were stolen from her home sometime between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. March 11 in the 1500 block of Magnolia Street.

Missing items included an 18-carat gold watch, a black Zenith VCR, a black Hewlett-Packard desktop computer, a 32-inch Sony flatscreen television and other items, according to a Bowling Green Police Department report.

A neighbor told police that about 3:30 p.m. she saw a man pull up to the back of the woman’s residence in an older white Buick car with the trunk open, the report said.

The neighbor said she saw a white man, about 6 feet tall, about 40 years old with a beard, standing by the vehicle in the driveway, but the neighbor said she did not see the man load any items into the truck of the vehicle, the report said.
