Donna Faye Gaskin Smith

Donna Faye Gaskin Smith, 59, of Bowling Green, died Friday, March 15, 2013, at The Medical Center.

She was a daughter of the late Willie (Bill) and Clara Mae Chaffin Gaskin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Gaskin. She graduated from the old “Warren County High School” in 1972 and worked at Fruit of the Loom as an examiner in the A-shirt unit for 32 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and Meme.

She will be remembered for her loving heart, her fine cooking and sewing abilities.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Donald Smith, and a son, Jason and his wife, Stacy; three grandchildren, Victoria, Mason and Parker; two sisters, Brenda England and Ramona Jackson (Joe David); and one brother, Jeff Gaskin; all of Bowling Green. There are several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel with burial in Bowling Green Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
