Community Action of Southern Kentucky is taking Head Start applications for enrollment for the 2013-2014 program year. 

Those who wish to apply must provide proof of income and verification of the child’s birth.

Head Start is a federally funded program geared to prepare preschool-age children for a successful school experience. Of those enrolled, 90 percent must be members of families who qualify as low-income. Children with disabilities are given special consideration.
