Seth Robert Browning of Bowling Green died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville on his 34th birthday. Seth was born Feb. 7, 1979.

Seth was a 1997 graduate of Bowling Green High School and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He attended Western Kentucky University, where he was a member of Lambda Chi fraternity, and most recently was pursuing a degree in physical therapy at Volunteer State Community College. Known as Seth Americas-Sweetheart Browning on Facebook, Seth loved his many friends, music, comedy and connecting with people.

Seth is survived by his parents, Charles and Jane Browning of Bowling Green; a sister, Charlotte Browning of Louisville; a brother, John Browning of Louisville; maternal grandmother, Charlotte Smith of Bowling Green; uncles, Richard Browning (Joyce) of Bowling Green, Mark Smith (Laurie) of Rockwall, Texas, Greg Smith (Julie) of McKinney, Texas, and Jeff Smith (Sallye) and Byron Smith (Kelly), all of Louisville; aunts, Nancy Browning of Tampa, Fla., Mona Wilkerson (Danny) of Louisville and Julie Watt (Dale) of Bowling Green; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willard Smith and Paul and Mary Browning; his uncle, Joe Maresca; and his cousin, Gavin Smith.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. The funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 434 Church St. A graveside service will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
