Dustin Lynch: Dustin Lynch

The first track from Dustin Lynch’s debut album may be called “She Cranks My Tractor,” but don’t let that get you thinking that this self-titled album is just another churned-out country money maker. Lynch’s album has a lot of heart. “Cowboys and Angels,” the first single from the album, is a sweet song that sets a strong tone for the rest of the record.

Lynch does a very good job of blending emotions throughout his tracks. While songs like “Hurricane” and “Waiting” are the more forlorn country love songs that are a staple of current country albums, tunes like “Name on It” and “Unwind It” are a welcomed flashback to ’90s country. For a contemporary country album, Dustin Lynch delivers just what you want. All you have to do is supply the six-pack and pick-up truck.
