Robert Eugene McGrath

Robert Eugene McGrath , 68, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Baptist Hospital East.

He was a retired carrier for the United States Postal Service, a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, a U.S. Air Force veteran, a volunteer for St. Matthews Fire Department, a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary McGrath.

He is survived by his son, Pat McGrath (Vicky), of Bowling Green; a daughter, Julie Walling (Michael); brothers, Tony McGrath (Treva), Jerry McGrath (Betty) and Jim McGrath (Jolee); sisters, Mary Thornsberry (Jerry) and Susan Weiter (Rick); and three grandchildren, Maggie, Owen and Samuel McGrath.

His funeral Mass was at 10 a.m. today at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 531 E. Liberty St. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery in Bowling Green on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. CST.
