Zachary Lindsey developed an interest in both music and hairstyling like his father Tony Lindsey [BoomTemple, TyBarc & Tony Lindsey & Co]. 

While still in high school Zachary formed The Secret, which at the peak of regional success changed their name to Von Guarde and performed from 2003 – 2008 with Lindsey as the lead vocalist and guitarist.  Their music was written primarily by Lindsey and guitarist Neal Turner Clayton.  The group played South By Southwest and warmed up for acts such as Black Stone Cherry and Cage the Elephant as well as appeared on MTV’s My Super Sweet 16.

After Von Guarde disbanded, Lindsey brief played with The Color Orange and then joined forces with popular group Sleeper Agent.  He relocated to Nashville where his primary project became Mona.  Shortly afterward Mona enjoyed critical acclaim in the UK and began touring Europe.

He also helped get with his brother, Alex’s project Nova Coma (formerly Foretolds), serving as producer of their first album.
