Described as “a romantic rock n roll band with songs for the city folk”, Mona has it’s roots in Ohio but is based in Nashville and includes Bowling Green’s Zach Lindsey [Sleeper Agent, The Secret/Von Guarde] on bass and Jordan Young [Sleeper Agent] on guitar.

In September 2010 they released their debut single Listen To Your Love and sold out by the time of release.  That fall they began a tour of the UK to critical claim, making NME’s Best  New Bands of 2010 list and being signed by Island Records.  They garnered similar acclaim in other publications such as: Q Magazine, Clash Music, The Fly, The Guardian, Music News, The Mirror and The Sun.  They appeared on Later With Jools Holland along with Robert Plant and others.
