Brother Bill Mosley

Brother Bill Mosley, 72, of Bowling Green, died Saturday, June 30, 2012, at his home.

He was a son of the late Oakley and Maude Mosley and he was the pastor of the Grace Baptist Church in Lebanon, Ore., as well as Highland Baptist Church, New Gasper Baptist Church and Roman’s Road Baptist Church, all of Bowling Green. He served as the associate pastor at New Life Baptist Church of Bowling Green, Yakima Baptist in Yakima, Wash., and the Faith Baptist Church in Ft. Myers Fla. Bro. Mosley founded the Morgantown Baptist Temple and the True Gospel Lighthouse Church of Bowling Green, where he was currently preaching. He had the True Gospel Lighthouse Cable Ministry for 10 years, and was also an independent contractor for the Lowe’s Home Improvement Store.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria “Jeannie” Mosley; two daughters, Beverly Brown (Chris) and Robin Games (Dax); three sons, Tommy Mosley (Linda), Michael Mosley (Gina) and Ronny Mosley; two brothers, James and Charlie Mosley, and 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition, there are several nieces and nephews and many, many friends.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway chapel, with burial in the Smith-Waddle Cemetery in Hadley. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. and officiated by Bro. Johnnie Dalton. Arrangements have been entrusted to the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway chapel.
