Perkins signed to play basketball at Union College today.
Green chose Campbells-ville over Lindsey Wilson and University of the Cumberlands, he said.
“I feel like they really wanted me,” Green said. “I like what they’ve done in the past and who they recruited this year. I feel like we have a good chance of winning games next year and so forth.”
Green had 70 carries for 408 yards and nine scores and added a touchdown reception for Bowling Green, which won the Class 5A state championship.
He finished his career by scoring 156 points as a Purple, the 27th highest mark in school history. Green also had nine career touchdown receptions, tied for fourth most in school history.
“The past couple of weeks – last month or so – has been like, ‘Where am I going to go? Am I going to play?’ ” Green said. “Now I can settle in because I know where I’m going.”

Perkins helped lead Glasgow to the school’s first region title. She led the Lady Scotties in points (12.9 ppg) and was second in rebounds (7.4 ppg).
Perkins chose Union over Ball State.
“I’ve always wanted to play college basketball,” Perkins said. “Since I was in elementary school, middle school, my goal was to be able to play at the college level. I’m just really excited that I’m able to get this opportunity to do that.”
Like Green, Perkins is happy to have her decision behind her.
“It’s a huge weight off my shoulders,” Perkins said. “It took me forever to make my decision, but I wasn’t in a hurry.”
