The Allen County-Scottsville softball team improved to 13-1 with a 10-0, five-inning win over Edmonson County at ACS on Tuesday.

Senior pitcher Kelsi Pardue allowed two hits and struck out nine. The first strikeout was the 1,000th of Pardue’s career, making her the 14th Kentucky fast pitch softball pitcher to reach that milestone.

Macaela Atwell added two hits, including a solo home run.

ACS will return to action Saturday when it faces Goreville (Ill.) at the Marshall County Tournament.
