David Ghafoori

David Ghafoori, 56, of Bowling Green, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at his residence at 5:30 p.m. 

The Kharg Island native was born Feb. 28, 1955, and was the son of Morad Ali Ghafoori of Kharg Island and his late mother, Agha Bigom (Nazeri) Ghafoori.

David was a Realtor for RE/MAX and member of the Realtors Association of Southern Kentucky for the past 15 years. He was voted by his peers at RE/MAX as Realtor of the Year in 2010. He was a former supervisor for approximately 15 years at Minit Mart Foods in Bowling Green and was a graduate of Western Kentucky University. He will be missed by his family, and his RE/MAX family, fellow Realtors and friends. He attended Scottsville Road Baptist Church for many years.    

Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at J.C. Kirby Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial in Bowling Green Gardens.  Arrangements are entrusted to J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
