James Edward Wright

James Edward Wright, 76, of Bowling Green, passed away on Jan. 24, 2012, at the Greenwood Nursing and Rehab Facility at 6:43 a.m. James was born on Oct. 2, 1935, in Park City to the late Troy W. Wright and the late Ethel Elizabeth Toms Wright. He was self-employed as a timber buyer and a logger. He was an avid sports fan and especially fond of horse racing.

He is survived by two daughters, Sandy Dismon and her husband, Greg, and Angela Wright, both of Bowling Green; one sister, Linda Cunningham and her husband, Don, of Jeffersonville, Ind.; three grandchildren, Briggette Blakey, Sydney Dismon and Austin Dismon; and caregiver, Joyce Wright of Bowling Green.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until time of the service Friday at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
