After sitting on the doorstep for the last few weeks, the Clinton County Bulldogs reached the top of the latest Bowling Green Daily News Area Top 10 Boys’ Poll – the first time a District 16 team has been ranked No. 1 in the three years of the poll.

Clinton County’s stay may be short, as the Bulldogs lost 74-63 on Monday to previous No. 1 Glasgow.

The Bulldogs received 11 first-place votes, with No. 2 Bowling Green getting three first-place votes.

The Scotties, who dropped to third after losses to Warren Central and Allen County-Scottsville last week, received the other first-place vote.

Warren Central holds at fourth, with Russell County completing the top five.
