Kathenia (Kathy) Huntsman Williams, 61, was tragically killed in a car accident on Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011. She was called to Heaven by her Lord and Savior at approximately 3 p.m. on Christmas Day. Kathy was born in Allen County on Feb. 24, 1950, to the late James Norel Huntsman and Dorothy Sue Williams Huntsman, who survives. She was a homemaker; former employee of General Electric; an alterations seamstress; employee of Greenwood High School, where she worked with special needs children; former member of Mt. Union United Methodist Church, where she was saved as a young girl; and a member of Hillview Heights Church, where she assisted with the Awanas, nursery, Women’s Ministry and choir.

She is survived by her devoted husband, whom she married on Dec. 8, 1967, Larry Williams of Morgantown; a son, Kevin Williams and his wife, Michelle, of Bowling Green, and their daughters, Claira Williams and Madison Williams; a daughter, Cindy Ward and her husband, Brad, of Beaver Dam, and their son, Bryson Ward; her mother, Dorothy Sue Huntsman of Bowling Green; a sister, Patsy Stafford and her husband, Charles, of Lafayette, Tenn.; and several nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at Hillview Heights Church with the Rev. Steve Ayers and the Rev. Jamie Ward officiating, and burial in Mt. Union United Methodist Church Cemetery in Allen County. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home in Scottsville, and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Hillview Heights Church.
