James Edward “Jim” Gillihan

James Edward “Jim” Gillihan, 57, of Bowling Green, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, at his residence.

The Davidson County, Tenn., native was owner of Jim’s Auto Upholstery and a Marine Veteran. He was the son of the late James Howard Gillihan and Lucille Harper Gillihan.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Backus Gillihan; two sons, James “Gillie” Gillihan and Joshua Gillihan and wife, Lora; a daughter, Darbie Simpson; seven grandchildren, Summer, Shelby, Joshua and Little Gil Gillihan, Chase, Carson, Conner Simpson; great-grandchild, Maddie Rae Doolin; four sisters, Linda Sharpe, Beverly Cardwell, Melba Hardison, Debbie Likens; and a brother, Randy Gillihan; several nieces and nephews.
