The Public Theatre of Kentucky will present The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, written by Barbara Robinson and directed by Lynn Gilcrease on December 1st-11th.
Synopsis: The Herdman kids are at it again! The meanest, nastiest, most inventively awful kids in the history of the world are going to ruin the annual church Christmas Pageant! When Mrs. Armstrong breaks her leg, Grace Bradley finds herself forced to direct the pageant and then casts the Herdman kids when no one else volunteers. Will the Christmas pageant be ruined… will it be cancelled… will the wise men run off with the baby Jesus… or will this be the Best Christmas Pageant Ever?
The show is sponsored by Bell, Orr, Ayers, & Moore and will take place at the Phoenix Theatre/The Public Theatre of Kentucky at 545 Morris Alley (Chestnut St. in Downtown Bowling Green). Performances are Thursdays at 7pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 3:00pm. Tickets prices are: $13 Adults, $10 Children, Students & Seniors, $8 Children under 12.
