Emily Nicole Dile, 12, of Bowling Green, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville. She was born on June 23, 1999, to Kevin and Arlene Skaggs Dile of Bowling Green. She was a first-degree black belt at Jeramy Black’s Taekwondo and was a member of the instructor’s team. She was also in the band and chorus at Moss Middle School. She loved to go horseback riding and playing outside with her dad. She also loved school, her family and friends.
She is survived by her parents, Kevin and Arlene Skaggs Dile of Bowling Green; grandparents, Jim and Dessie Dile of Bowling Green; several aunts and uncles, Tommy and Natalie Compton of Eighty Eight, Chris and Kathy Harper, of Edmonton, Jimmy and Jennifer Dile of Alvaton, Steve Dile of Smiths Grove, Darla Dile of Bowling Green and Joe and Sonia Macewicz of Richmond, Va.; special cousin, Keith Dennis of Austin, Texas; and a lot of cousins.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at 1 p.m. at the J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Burial will be in the Bowling Green Gardens.
