The double-ring wedding ceremony of Melanie Blyss Titus and Russell Brent Morgan was performed at 1 p.m. June 25, 2011, at Remnant Fellowship Church in Brentwood, Tenn.
The bride is the daughter of Candyce and Winston Titus of Fargo, N.D. The groom’s parents are Martha and Russell Morgan Jr. of Bowling Green.
The bride wore a white gown by Vera Wang, featuring a tucked bodice and full skirt of white tulle with tufting accenting the back of the skirt and a large sheer bow at the dropped waistline. Her veil was chapel length. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of blush roses.
The bride’s attendants were Helen Boerman, Jolinda Chrisman, Naomi Howell, Elisabeth Lorenz and Heidi Singh. The flower girls, dressed in identical white sheer dresses with headdresses of pink rosebuds, were Morgan Elizabeth McClain of Greenville, S.C., niece of the groom, Alexia Bellew of St. Louis, Lucinda Dyer of Brentwood, Tenn., and Amelia Greek and Rachel Greek of Denver, nieces of the bride.
The groom’s attendants were Mark Jost, Durville Patton, Curtis Sailstad, Sheldon Singh and Al Voorhis.
Pre-nuptial music was presented by the church choir and various soloists. Wedding music was presented by the church chamber orchestra.
A wedding reception followed the ceremony in the Main Hall of the church. A rehearsal dinner was hosted Friday evening by the wedding party and out-of-town guests by the groom’s parents at Boxwood Bistro in Franklin, Tenn.
Russ, a graduate of Western Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky College of Law, is a partner with the law firm of Bradley, Arant, Boult and Cummings in Nashville. Melanie, a graduate of Evangel University in Springfield, Mo., is a project manager with INSPIRIS in Brentwood.
After a wedding trip to Quebec, Canada, and a trip to Europe, the couple are living in Brentwood, Tenn.
