Logan County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a single-vehicle fatal traffic crash on Highland Lick Road about five miles east of Russellville.
At about 3:50 p.m. Sunday, the sheriff’s office was called to the scene of the crash, where a 1994 Chevrolet Camaro convertible overturned several times in a field.
Marvin Perry Jr., 57, 6925 Highland Lick Road, was driving the Camaro west when he lost control of his vehicle, went off the road and overturned several times, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
Logan County Coroner Mary Givins pronounced Perry dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation. Speed is believed to be a contributing factor, the release said.
