Ultraviolet laminate glass is being used at the historic L&N Depot, which provides protection of museum items and reduces sun damage throughout the building.
The storm window frame has been custom colored and fit to each of the windows, including the palladium arches in the upper portion of the building.
The installation of the film and windows, which came from a $42,000 grant, is expected to reduce energy use at least 30 percent, according to a news release from the depot.
