Louis Ray Stiles, age 67, of Brownsville, passed away on September 22, 2011, at Hospice Center of Southern KY.
Louis was born Oct. 4, 1943, to the late Elvis Stiles and Dorothy Lowe Stiles of Bowling Green. He was a retired Captain of the KY State Police, a member of the McClure Masonic Lodge in Rocky Hill, KY, and attended Smiths Grove Presbyterian Church.
Louis is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nancy Gross Stiles of Brownsville, KY; one son, David Stiles and wife Kim of Murfreesboro, TN; one daughter, Kim Reed and husband Brian of Bowling Green; 3 sisters, Carol Stiles of Lexington, KY, Donna Hulsman and husband Mark of Louisville, KY, Diane Meffert and husband Dennis of Bowling Green; 2 brothers, Ronnie Stiles of Franklin, Billy Stiles and wife Shirley of Oakland, KY; 5 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lucas, Nick, Trent, Chase; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 3 p.m to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011, at J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Masonic Service will be at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011, at J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel with burial in Bowling Green Gardens.
