FRANKLIN — Paul Edward Chandler, 63, of Woodburn, died Aug. 28, 2011, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Portland, Tenn., native was retired from Eaton Corp. after 25 years of service and enjoyed farming. He was a member of Macedonia General Baptist Church and the Honduras Mission Team and was an Army veteran. He was a son of the late Coy Jackson Chandler and Christine Petty Chandler and the husband of the late Patsy Lee Mayes Chandler. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Coy Chandler and Jimmy Chandler; and a sister, Bertie Ann Chandler.
Funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Macedonia General Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by the Simpson County Honor Guard. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the church. Crafton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Angela Lea Whittemore of Woodburn; a granddaughter, Nicole Chandler of Woodburn; six brothers, Roger and Richard Chandler of Franklin, Charlie, Terry and Kenneth Chandler of Portland and Harold Chandler of Gallatin, Tenn.; and three sisters, Pauline Haney of Cross Plains, Tenn., Marie Chandler of Portland and Gail Chandler of Bowling Green.
