Millie Dean Sneed, 75, of Bowling Green, died at 5:25 a.m. Aug. 11, 2011, at her residence.

She was born in Pine Grove in Edmonson County on Sept. 12, 1935. She was a homemaker and a caregiver. She was a daughter of the late Lacey Littrell and Marie Glass Spears. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Otis, George and Frank Littrell.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery in Edmonson County. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and begins at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Frank W. Sneed; two sons, Larry Sneed and his wife, Deborah, of Alvaton, and Gary Sneed and his wife, Kathy, of Bowling Green; a daughter, Lillian Sneed of Bowling Green; four grandchildren, Billy Sneed and his wife, Leann, of Bowling Green, Wesley Sneed and his wife, Christy, of Rockfield, and Heather and Shannon Sneed of Alvaton; a great-granddaughter, Katie Sneed of Bowling Green; three sisters, Mary Francis Lindsey and Juanita Watkins Ennis, both of Edmonson County, and Amy Jones of Central City.
