Join us this summer as the barricades arise at the historic Capitol Arts Center in downtown Bowling Green.  The Capitol Arts Youth Theatre is proud to present the epic musical Les Miserables, a show that has been dazzling audiences for the past 25 years.

This version, performed entirely by middle and high school students, tells the classic story of Jean Valjean, a man unjustly imprisoned for nineteen years for stealing a loaf of bread, who breaks parole and seeks redemption while trying to elude the relentless police inspector Javert. The show also includes the desperate factory girl Fantine, her orphaned child Cosette, the idealistic students of Paris who are plotting revolution, and the vicious Thenardiers and their criminal gang. Filled with memorable songs such as “I Dreamed a Dream,” “On My Own,” “Bring Him Home” and “One Day More,” this production will sweep audiences into a world filled with passion, heartbreak, and triumph.
